Applications are now open for the ICYF International Media Training Camp 2026 in Turkey, an international youth program designed for young people interested in journalism, digital media, storytelling, research, and community engagement. The program is organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in co-organization with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, in partnership with TRT Journalism for Juniors (J4J) and FOKUS PLUS.
The camp will take place at Antalya Alaaddin Keykubat Youth Camp in Antalya, Türkiye. Separate camps will be organized for young men and young women, with a total of 200 participants selected.

International participants can receive reimbursement of travel expenses of up to USD 250. Participants living in Türkiye can receive domestic travel reimbursement of up to 3,500 TRY.
Travel Funding
International Participants
Participants initially cover their international travel expenses. ICYF will reimburse eligible international travel expenses up to: USD 250 per participant.
The official guidelines also state that participation priority may be given to applicants who can cover their own flight tickets.
Participants Living in Türkiye
Domestic participants initially cover their travel costs. ICYF may reimburse domestic transportation expenses up to: 3,500 Turkish Lira.
Local Transportation
Transfers to and from the airport or bus station will be arranged and covered by the host organizers.
Accommodation and Meals
The host organizers will cover:

These benefits are provided as part of the local hospitality arrangements during the camp.
Health Insurance
Health insurance coverage during the camp will be provided for participants. Any additional insurance requirements, including additional travel insurance, must be arranged and paid for by the participant.
Visa Support

ICYF can provide an invitation letter upon request to support the visa application process.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be between 18 and 25 years old
- Be a citizen of an OIC Member State, or
- Be a member of a Muslim community in a non-OIC country
- Have proficiency in English
- Have an interest in media, research, storytelling, or community engagement
- Have not participated in the ICYF Media Camp during the previous year
Is IELTS Required?
The official eligibility criteria require applicants to demonstrate English proficiency, but the published requirements do not state that an IELTS certificate is mandatory. Applicants should be comfortable communicating and participating in program activities in English.

A total of 200 participants will be selected.
